NEW BOOK RELEASE- The Hat In The Closet: A Halloween Story

I’m very proud to announce the release of my newest children’s book, The Hat In The Closet; A Halloween Story; illustrated beautifully by Mai Kemble. This book is a personal story based loosely on my own childhood, and dedicated to my mother.

The story begins when Jenny unexpectedly finds a witch’s hat in her mother’s closet. The image of the hat leaves Jenny feeling frightened and continues to haunt her in a dream. This frightful dream leads Jenny to believe her mother is really a witch!

The Hat In The Closet is a fun story about imagination, and how it can sometimes lead us to misinterpret and believe in the unimaginable. The story also reminds the reader the importance of asking questions even when we find it too difficult or frightened to ask them.

Despite her initial fears, Jenny presents her mother with a beautiful button necklace and soon after the truth is revealed; along with a few more surprises! This book was written with the intention of demonstrating the unconditional love between a mother and her child.
